We have presently 7 houses set to paint with 8-9 groups participating. We will meet first at Hermoso Park, which is 20th Street and Southern. We will have the different groups find their housing assignments, sign in, sign the Bibles, get name tags, etc... We will do instructions and then from 8-11:30 paint the houses in 2 different areas. We will then come back to the Hermoso Park for lunch. We will have the Phoenix Fire department come and then also our own Phoenix PD, Chris Granado, Councilman Johnson and a few others briefly share about the City's involvement with the community in making a difference. 

No painting experience necessary. :)

Here are some more details for the event:

• We'll need extra brushes or rollers if you have any extra at home
• We need ladders. It would be great to have at least 8 ladders per house. New CIty has 15 ladders. 
• Wear painting clothes, i.e. hats, gloves, old clothes and shoes.
• There will be a big lunch after the Blitz back at Hermoso Park.

Schedule

Meet at Hermoso Park (20th St/Southern) for instructions, sign in, sign Bibles 7:30 - 8:00 AM

Cooking/setup crew - setup at Hermoso Park 8:30-11 AM

Christian Band arrives at 10 AM

Groups paint houses 8-11:30 (Our house is at 2302 E. Sheraton Ln)

Lunch at Park 11:30-1PM

Councilman Johnson comes at noon

Firemen come at noon

Cleanup 1-2PM
